Magnetic bearing cooling units are the most efficient cooling systems available due to their frictionless bearings, DC motors, and integrated frequency inverters. 1. Clint Turbocor chillers are the most efficient cooling units available today. They offer unparalleled efficiency levels and the shortest amortization periods. The Turbocor compressors are two-stage, integrated with frequency inverters, frictionless magnetic bearings, and DC motors, with a maximum weight of 180 kg for compact centrifugal compressors. These specific features enable them to achieve exceptional efficiency values.
2. The maintenance-free nature of Clint Turbocor compressors, which do not require part replacements and do not use oil or oil filters, eliminates the cost of oil changes and replacements. Unlike screw and centrifugal chillers, which require expensive overhaul maintenance, Turbocor compressors require minimal servicing. Their low vibration also ensures extended operational life and minimal failure risk. As a result, **magnetic bearing cooling units** have much lower service costs compared to other compressor-based units.
3. Clint Turbocor compressors are designed with frictionless and oil-free bearings, resulting in minimal noise levels. Compared to screw and centrifugal chillers, Turbocor chillers operate at significantly lower sound levels.

Generally, centrifugal compressor units are made with single compressors, and screw compressor units are made with single or double compressors. However, magnetic bearing cooling units can be designed with multiple compressors, providing much higher backup ratios. Unlike other cooling units, they do not require direct backup from another unit. In case of failure, the capacity loss is much lower compared to other compressor-based units.
6. Clint magnetic bearing cooling units provide electrical protection through line reactors, and their passive harmonic filters ensure that no negative harmonic effects are generated for other devices in the environment via the EMC filter.
7. Unlike centrifugal cooling units, Clint Turbocor compressors can operate at minimum capacity levels. They are also protected against surge, which is the biggest disadvantage of centrifugal chillers.
